re/design • part one

So right away I found something online that embraces the idea of a “product re-design”.

It takes the idea of a simple calendar, and creates something new and different. We all think of calendars as being 12 sheets bound together, tacked to a wall with a pretty picture on one side and a 7×5 grid on the other.

Enzo Mari decided to take a different approach and created something more user friendly and yet simplistic and beautiful at the same time. This calendar in itself shows his unique approach to design and how he wanted people to realize that things could be done differently and have an end result that is overall more creative and really, pleasing to look at.
